After passing the New York State Bar in 1992, I started my legal career working for a
large Insurance company on Long Island as a defense lawyer where I handled
approximately 1,000 files over a 2 ½ years period of time. I learned quickly working with
seasoned attorneys and trial lawyers. During my time working as a defense attorney, I
realized how insurance companies treated injured people, even their own policyholders.
It was in May 1994 when I decided to switch sides and I joined a small law firm in
Huntington, New York where I focused on representing seriously injured people. The
advantage that I had was that I knew all of the inner workings of large insurance
counsel. Then in October 1995, I decided it was time to start my own law practice. The
emphasis of my practice for the last 18 years has been on representing seriously injured
people.
I am admitted to practice law before the Courts of the State of New York, as well as to the
Eastern and Southern District Federal Courts of New York.
I am a member of the New York State Bar Association.
